The past couple of weeks around here have been pleasantly non-eventful. All of the girls are doing great. Casey is really liking his new job, and I am soaking up the good rhythm that we are lucky enough to be enjoying.
Despite the occasional meltdown, Clare is at such a fun age. Every stage that she goes through, I think to myself, "this is my favorite." Then, amazingly, I love the next stage just as much. Of course, the terrible two monster rears it's ugly head every now and again, and that is a phase I do NOT love. But, as all things parenting go, the good far outweighs the bad.
It's go time for the twins! Sydney has been crawling for a couple of weeks, and this past week Jane really took off. Too bad they always seem to go in opposite directions! While it is fun to see this new milestone come to fruition, it seems I am constantly on the lookout for someone putting something in her mouth.
(Sydney)The little girls are both doing really well. They are sleeping well, enjoying some new finger foods, exploring everything, and just generally happy. It seems they are getting bigger everyday and really coming into their own.
(Jane)This final picture just goes to show that the old saying is true...."You can't please everyone!"
