The other day we had a few minutes to kill, so I got out the camera. The girls were in silly moods, and actually indulged my request to take a few pictures....maybe not the best pictures, but pretty cute!

Around Our House

Clare went to a birthday party this week where she got her face painted. She LOVED having this unicorn on her face all day, and when it was time to wash it off, she was beside herself. She kept sobbing, saying "Bye pony! Good-bye!" Oh, the drama!

Lately, Sydney and Jane have made some big progress in the bathroom department. They have been potty trained (#1) for a long time now, but #2 proved to be difficult. When I instituted the reward of getting to paint your own fingernails and taking away diapers at naptime, we finally had some success! Thankfully, the pictures below depict a common scene around our house these days!

I never thought I would let my three-year-olds paint their own nails, but desperate times call for desperate measures!!!!

24 Weeks

Today marks 24 weeks in this pregnancy! Only 15 more to go. (I know it will go fast, but that seems like a long time to me!) I am officially scheduled for a C-section on April 28th. Overall, I am feeling good and can't complain. (Well, I can, but I won't on here. Just ask Casey. :) The baby is moving around all of the time, and I love all of those kicks!

With Christmas behind me, I am starting to think about his nursery and getting organized. Below is the fabric that I have picked. Thankfully, my mom has become quite the pro at making baby bedding. The guest room in our house was fortuitously painted blue when we moved in, so no painting will have to be done.

We are thinking about names, getting rid of baby girl clothes, and beginning to prepare for life with a little man around!

Let It Snow

What a fun, snowy day!

The girls were so excited when we drove home from church today, and it started to snow! After naps/rest time, we bundled everyone up and headed out to play!

Clare was all about it. She was making snowballs and helping with the snowman.

Sydney was excited at first, but then quickly discovered that snow equals cold!

Jane had a big time, and enjoyed the change in weather!

Teamwork! They are all working on Frosty.

Sydney gave it up first. She was freezing and ready for some hot chocolate!

Jane and Clare stuck it out for the completion of Frosty! Then they headed inside for hot chocolate....and snow ice cream!
