Oh, How I Love Thee

Graham is 22 months old.  It is hard to believe that he is fast approaching two years old!

He is a busy little dude who climbs on everything.
He is such a physical kid...climbs on the counter, goes down the slide belly first, runs, kicks a ball, etc.

He is also talking so much now!  He has a ton of words and he is putting them together in 2-3 word phrases!  It was a long-time coming for him to start talking, and I don't take a single word for granted!

Graham loves Jack's Big Music Show.  It is his favorite show.  He sometimes watches Bob the Builder, Mickey Mouse, and Blues Clues.  He loves his lovie, reading books, playing ball, and being outside.  He is such a pleasant kids, almost always in a good mood.

What a sweet boy!

A+

Last week I had parent-teacher conferences at preschool.  There are days when I feel like all I do is discipline, and man, is it ever nice to hear other people say good things about my kids!  In light of the excellent reports, I treated them to ice cream after school!

Graham tagged along as well.  He isn't loving ice cream these days, so he went with a cheeseburger....and ate the whole thing!

It was a fun afternoon with my three youngest!

Sweet Valentine Dates

As tradition dictates, Casey took each of the girls out for ice cream to celebrate Valentine's Day.  He came back for the dates saying how different they all are!

I didn't take Graham out this year, but maybe next year!  We did have a nice dinner at home on the night of Valentine's.  I made a "heart" chicken pot pie turned out pretty cute, if I do say so myself!

Casey and I went out Saturday night, and we enjoyed a really nice evening.  We are so thankful for all of the people who loved on our kids for this special holiday!  Check out the card stash!

Hope everyone had a nice "love day!"

Tooth Tales

It's official! Jane is a member of the "Lost Tooth Club!"  Her tooth had been super wiggly for a while, and Casey finally wiggled it out!  I can't believe she is old enough to have lost a tooth.

Big Sis says "Welcome to the club!"

Since Jane was posing for so many pictures, Graham thought he needed a turn.

Jane put her tooth in her pillow, her pillow on her nightstand, and settled into sleep!  Lucky for her the tooth fairy delivered!  And the best part of it all is that she SAW the tooth fairy.  According to Jane, the tooth fairy was little and wearing a pink dress!!!

Wonder how long until the next one comes out?!?!

Going Under

Sydney and Jane underwent a minor surgical procedure on Friday.  The girls had tubes put in when they were one year old.  Each girl had one tube that had not yet fallen out.  So, they had to do a a quick little surgery where the tube was removed and the hole was closed with some skin from the belly button.

The girls did so great.  Oddly enough, I think they were a little excited about the whole deal....especially when they scored new stickers, teddy bears, and coloring books.

Even though they are a big five years old, they still looked pretty small in those beds!

Everything went great.  They were, of course, a little groggy while the anesthesia was wearing off, but by the end of the day,  they were running around outside!

Many people brought the girls lots of well-wishes! With all of the loot they recieved, I think they thought the surgery was worth it!

I am glad it is behind us!
