Whodunit?

With potty training on the horizon, we have little potties set out around the house. Occasionally after Jane and Sydney have taken their baths, they run to sit on a potty. The other night they both took turns on the potty. A few minutes later, I look down and notice that somebody actually went potty! The trouble is we don't know who did it!!!

I said, "Who went tee tee in the potty?"
Jane said, "Me did it!"
Sydney said, "Me did it!"

Hmmm......

Time Out!

The Way We Roll

The double stroller rarely gets used anymore these days,
but today we busted it out to go on a walk.

And yes, Sydney decided she need to wear her red "sparkle" shoes (with purple socks).

Guess she thinks there's no place like home.
Doesn't bode well for the stroller ride, eh?

Enough

I am not saying it was warm today; I am just saying it was warm ENOUGH to go outside for a little while this afternoon!

The girls enjoyed having a snack at the picnic table,

running around,

and playing chalk.

It was a literal breath of fresh air.

The First Volume

I am excited! I have finally finished getting my first year of blogging into book form using Blurb.
It arrived in the mail today, and I am very pleased!

Does this make up for the fact that I haven't kept up with the girls' baby books?

Next up...start working on volume 2.

Here's the Poop

Since the introduction of solid foods, Sydney has dealt with chronic constipation....and that's putting it mildly. It has gotten so bad that we have been to our pediatrician several times and a pediatric GI specialist. All of whom say she basically just has bad luck.


Thankfully, we have found some medicine that seems to work and she is in a pretty good (although not perfect) routine. Everyone who spends much time with us knows that Sydney struggles with pooping....including Jane and Clare.



The other day when it was obvious that Syd was having a hard time, Clare came up to me and said, "Mommy should we do a "pause-tory-o?"


Guess she has heard us refer to suppositories one too many times.
