Celebrate Good Times!

Graham's birthday brought with it lots of birthday celebrations!  We started last weekend with a birthday party.  Graham requested a "sports" bounce house with a Star Wars cake...so that's what we did!

We went with Star Wars cupcakes, actually!

The boys bounced their hearts out, and then started batting practice with Casey!

The piƱata was fun, although it didn't take them long to break it!

After all of his friends left, the family stuck around to celebrate!  Graham loved having Brody at both events!

Another party called for another cake!

On Graham's actual birthday, there was more fun to be had!  Graham was quite celebrated at school!

On his birthday night, our family went to the Rough Riders game!  The weather was perfect, and it was such a fun night.

Graham's name was on the jumbotron!

There was lots of good baseball talk between these two!

 We met Deuce, the mascot!

The highlight of the night was when Graham got a ball!

We finished the night with the kids running the bases.  It was a great night celebrating our new FIVE year old!

Happy Birthday Graham!

Today Graham turns FIVE!

He has a smile that will light up a room, and he makes every day better!  Happy 5th birthday to the sweetest boy I know.  Full recap coming soon of all of the birthday celebrations!

10th Birthday Getaway!

In lieu of a birthday party, Casey and I decided to steal Clare away for a short little getaway!  We took her to Fort Worth and started at the Stockyards.

The first thing on the agenda was the Amazing Race maze.  Clare conquered it in 23 minutes!!

We went and checked into the hotel and got ourselves cleaned up.  It was a beautiful weekend, and we let Clare pick our restaurant.  She picked an outdoor barbecue spot, and it was delicious!

Clare loves staying in a hotel!  She especially loved waking up first thing and heading to the indoor pool!

Sunday morning we walked over to the Water Gardens, and then headed to brunch on Sundance Square.

Clare told us the last thing she wanted to do was go back and do the maze again.  Since it was her weekend, we obliged.  She improved her time by 2 minutes!!

It was such a fun weekend, and I am so glad we started this 10th birthday tradition.  Casey and I enjoyed spending time with our oldest girl so much.  What a special weekend!
