Disney Days: Epcot and Souvenir Shopping

Friday morning we were back at it!
We headed to Epcot and were pleased to see that it didn't look too crowded.

First, we headed to Soarin'. Everyone loved it!  We rode it again about an hour later.  We did the rest of the stuff in that building....Living on the Land and The Lion King movie.

Of course, we rode the Nemo ride.

Then, Casey made us watch the Captain E.O. show.  Despite Syd's thumbs-up, this was not a crowd favorite!  No Michael Jackson lovers amongst us.

Finally, the time had arrived! Lunch at Akershus!

This where we hit the jackpot with the princesses.  For posterity's sake, here they all are:

Sleeping Beauty, Princess Aurora

Our 2nd meeting with Cinderella

Snow White

and Ariel!

Clare was thrilled to learn she was a lefty!

After lunch, the girls got to participate in a "princess procession."

We rode a boat ride in the Norway area, and then walked through a tiny bit of the World Showcase area.  We did hit Mexico!

We rode a few more rides....Mission:Space (HOLY COW!), Spaceship Earth, and did Turtle Talk with Crush.

It looked like the skies were about to open up, we had ridden and seen everything we wanted, so we decided to leave Epcot.

The girls were allowed to pick out a souvenir, so we went back over to Downtown Disney.  Just as we got there, it started we had to bust out the very humbling, yet functional ponchos!  Or pintos, as Sydney called them.

We got the souvenirs, grabbed some dinner, and headed back to the condo.  The girls had been surprising us with how well they were doing with the very busy schedule, but we didn't want to push our luck.  We got everyone to bed, and no one had any trouble falling asleep!

One more park: Animal Kingdom!
