As soon as Casey walked in the door, Clare rushed to him and said, "This tooth has to come out!" So Casey got the job done!

This is the sixth too the she has lost.  She was super excited about getting this one out since she had already lost her other front tooth.

Hopefully the tooth fairy will stop by tonight!

Another Soccer Season

Clare is playing for the Angels for her third season.

While I am fairly certain that soccer isn't going to pay for Clare's college, she seems to enjoy being part of her team.  She has an excellent coach, and she has made some good friends that go to her school.

When I asked Clare this summer if she wanted to play again, she answered "I don't like getting hot and sweaty."  To which I replied, "You have to do something that makes you hot and sweaty."  So, she picked soccer again. :-)

I enjoy going to the games and watching her play.  Her sisters always seem to find something to do.

Graham spends most of his time trying to walk onto the field. He loves to be outside, no matter what is going on.

Clare has made great improvements in her soccer skills.  Here's to another great season!

According To My Phone...

Here's what we've been up to, according to the pictures on my phone:

Sydney's been wearing her pink sparkle boots with some interesting outfits.

Graham couldn't quite hang with us at the last football game.

Clare has adjusted so nicely to the school schedule.  She is loving first grade.

Graham loves to be outside.  Here he is playing in the dirt.

Whenever we are at a store, Jane always wants me take pictures of things that she can "put on her Christmas list."

That's a brief glimpse into our lives...via my phone!

Let's Go Ride a Bike

On Sunday, we introduced Graham to the world of bikes!
The whole family went out for a short bike ride around the neighborhood.

I am so thankful for the weather cooling off!  I would love it to get even cooler, but at least now we can be outside without melting.

Now, every time Graham sees the bike in the garage, he points to it, wanting to go again.  I am predicting it won't be long before we are out there again!

Finally!

Last Monday at Deedee's house, we revealed the big news to the girls.  We're going to Disney World!

It was Dale's birthday, and she planned a Disney party.  The girls went in costume, and when we got there, the big news was revealed!

Initially, Clare was the most excited.  She knows the most about this magical place, just from hearing from her friends.   Jane and Sydney were more curious, but now their excitement has taken off as well.

We have a calendar and are counting down.  It is sure to be a fun time!

First Day, Pre-K

Last week we went to go meet Jane and Sydney's teachers.  They were both so excited.  As soon as Clare started school, they were ready....but they had to wait a week.  Each girl found their classroom, got their folder, and saw who was in their class.  Both of them left that night excited about the first day.

The day finally came!

I could tell Jane was nervous this morning.  She kept telling me her tummy hurt.  I think she had a little first day anxiety.  However, she walked right in sat down and didn't blink an eye.

At the end of the day, all reports were good.  She knows several people in class and loves her teachers.

Sydney was excited.  She loves to be around people, so school is right up her alley.  She was definitely more reserved than normal when she walked in and found her seat.  She has several friends in her class that were in her class last year.  A familiar face always helps!

She, too, gave a positive report.  She had a great day and is ready to go back!

Both of the girls' classes do the same things during the day, but in true Sydney fashion, she kept telling Jane all of these really fun things that they did.  None of which were true.  "We made chocolate chip cookies and then ate them."  What a stinker.

It is always nice to have that first day in the books...and I am glad it was a good one!
